If you have reached a plateaux with your sea paddling and you want to be able to feel confident in your ability in more dynamic situations, then we have the weekend for you!
These sessions are designed to improve your ability to operate in more dynamic water, be a more proactive member of the group and accelerate your learning curve in sea kayaking skills.

This guided weekend aims to give you as much experience as possible in more dynamic environments up to Beaufort Force 4 winds and swell of up to 1 metre hight, aiming to build your confidence in larger environments or areas you feel you want to work on.
The weekend can be tailored to your needs, however we look at elements of trip planning, kit choices, paddling styles, boat handling and control, team work and rescues. We aim to explore all these areas on day long paddles with plenty of hints and tips from your leaders.
We host this course in various locations across the the North and East coast.
What can I expect?
The weekend looks at a tailored approach to giving you confidence – if you have an area of paddling you have worries about, we can focus on paddles that stretch those abilities. Prior attendees have loved the progressive and stepwise approach during the weekend aiming to slowly and supportively improve your kayaking confidence.
To attend this course you’ll need to have your own boat, paddle and paddling gear. We would suggest you have a tow line, helmet and suitable footwear for rocks. If you you don’t have any of these, please get in touch before booking lolas we may be able to supply some equipment for an extra charge.
